A relative new country, although its hundreds years old. It's just since the 20th of May 2002 that East Timor has it's own government, independent of Indonesia.
For his work for the UN World Food Programme ( WFP ) Michael PA5M is back in Timor Leste and active on hamradio as 4W6AAB He has been QRV twice before with this callsign back in 2006. It's still rare to work, so for 5 more weeks Michael will be QRV inbetween work, when time allows.
The antenna in use is the Codan Wideband dipole, one leg on the upper foto.
A VERY special 6m antenna is in use with real nice results.

The gridsquare from 4W6AAB is PI21SK. Nice 6500 km dx !!!
During office hours Michael will be 'running' a beacon on 50.094
If you hear the beacon.....start calling. When you wake him up from his desk he might show up on radio when work allows.
Operating from Suai in south 4W
